Mission Statement:

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge is a Christian-based ministry that builds and renovates houses in partnership with the community. We provide opportunities for families in need to purchase their own homes, build community, and improve their lives.

Top Goal:

Over our 33-year history, HFHGBR has made uplifting existing, yet declining, neighborhoods in Greater Baton Rouge its primary goal and focus. HFHGBR enriches these neighborhoods by building new homes and rehabilitating aging homes in the area through our Critical Home Repair program.
