Louisiana's nonprofit organizations may all look different, yet we all have similar goals: to fill the gaps in services and support for the communities of Louisiana. The needs are constantly changing and growing, and we must adapt our programs and services as well.

We know that education, information sharing, and collaboration are the keys to sustainability and impact. The 2024 Conference for Louisiana's Nonprofits will offer strategies, experiences, and connections to help our organizations continue to grow and thrive.

Millennial Philanthropy: The Next Generation of Philanthropy

Nearly 75 million people make up the Millennial generation worldwide, and yet, for many nonprofits, this generation remains an untapped resource for nonprofits. However, because of the Great Transfer of Wealth from Baby Boomers to Gen Xers and Millennials, millennials need a second look. With the largest generational transfer of wealth in modern history, as well as limited nonprofit resources, nonprofits need to look at the Millennial generation as a source of people, power and philanthropy.  Holly Hull Miori, PhD, CFRE; an academic teacher, researcher, fundraising professional and author of Millennial Philanthropy: Next Generation Fund Development for Professionals and Nonprofits will share information and techniques around how connecting with the Millennial generation can help your organization grow and succeed.
