The Levitt Foundation has announced an exciting grant opportunity for U.S.-based nonprofits to present a Levitt Music Series in 2026, 2027 and 2028.
These multi-year matching grants of up to $40K/year (up to$120K total) will activate underused public spaces, ensure access to the arts, and strengthen the social fabric of communities—bringing people together of all ages and backgrounds through free, outdoor concerts. The AmeriHealth Caritas Foundation has announced its 2025 grant opportunity for eligible nonprofits working to address and prevent adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). With a focus on empowering families, promoting healing behaviors, and increasing access to health care, this funding opportunity is designed to support programs that create emotionally healthy futures for children and families across Louisiana and other qualifying states.
Grants will range from $100,000 to $250,000 for one-year, project-specific initiatives. To be eligible, applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits with annual revenue under $10 million and offer programming that is asset-based, community-led, and demonstrates meaningful impact, especially in high-Medicaid-enrollment communities.
The Foundation has a two-step application process. Letters of Intent (LOIs) are due by June 25, 2025. LOI decisions will be expected to be made by July 21, 2025. Join the National Council of Nonprofits (NCN) for a free webinar on Monday, May 19 at 3:30 pm Eastern, for nonprofits on responding to federal grant cancellations. The webinar will cover how grants are being cancelled, steps grantees should take to prepare for the risk of cancellation, and considerations for organizations after cancellation. The NCN Public Policy team will also share actions that you can take now to advocate for your nonprofit organizations.

The Baton Rouge Area Foundation (BRAF) has opened applications for its Impact Grants, providing up to $25,000 in funding to organizations working in early childhood development or community safety and violence prevention.
Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations in good standing and public agencies such as school districts or libraries. Completing the survey is the critical first step for homeowners seeking program assistance. The Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Program is a federally funded program providing grants to eligible homeowners impacted by Hurricane Francine for:
Program assistance will be available to qualifying homeowners located in the nine federally declared disaster parishes: Ascension, Assumption, Jefferson, Lafourche, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Mary and Terrebonne.
